FileBot App Reviews

47 Customer Reviews:

Quite simply, the best $10 I ever spent. If you have a large media collection this is an essential app to have. Have renamed over 5000 files and counting now for my home theater :) fyi, using on a iMac and renaming for mede8er player. Creates folder structure as needed, transfers files from local HD to NAS. Very easy to use. Highly recommended. Loving it!!!!

I will update this review once this BUG is fixed; as it is a major issue! When the program asks you to enter the correct name for a video that it cannot find, it never saves the entered information nor does it rename that file as such when complete. So you have to go back and manually rename each file that you already renamed from within the program prompts. Thank you...

This app is terrible! I picked up an apple tv 4, and Plex doesn’t like the names of my files, so I tried this out, and it applied the same file name to a whole folder of different movies, no matter which “database” was chosen. “What a piece of junk”

Workhorse App. Use it every day.

I use this app every single day to rename and move videos. Perfect. Love it.

Wow. I read everyone’s review here and etc. Some people whine about this tiny thing or that minimal issue. Those are the kinds of people who should write their own software and never use anyone else’s. I build software for a living. This, like all other software on the planet, is not 100% perfect. But holy guacamole people, it’s pretty stinkin’ awesome and saves a TON of time. The one ask I would have is for it to be able to handle audio book renaming and organization. The audio stuff doesn’t always work. But, since it fixes the other 98% of my file names, etc, I have plenty of time, right?

I bought this product with subtitle functionality. Something I paid for. Now the developers have decided to remove this into a seperate app. I assume to sell it to people like me again. I say assume because the new app they refer to in the description is no where to be found and the website mentions nothing about it. In fact the website shows the full version of the software including the original subtitles functionality. Very disappointing.
